ALBERICO, Immacolata Concetta 'Connie' (nee Maone) - It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Immacolata Concetta (Connie) Alberico (nee Maone) at the age of 81.
Born in Rende, Italy on December 8, 1938 and passed away November 12, 2020.
Immacolata is survived by Remo. She is predeceased and is now reunited with her parents Salvatore and Maria, and her siblings Virginia (Paolo) and Luigi.
She will forever remain in the hearts of her children, Mimmo (Eliza), Bruno (Isabella), Assunta, and Romina (Yossi).
She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Sandra (Michael), Rebecca (Domenico), Luca (Samantha), Michael, Noah, and Bianca. Her memory will be honoured by her siblings Rafaella, Pasquale (Maritza), Antonio (Patsy), Vittorio (Lidia), Maura (Giuseppe), Louisa (Louis), her sister in law Rita, and her many nieces and nephews.
She will also be missed by her loving caregiver and good friend Jennifer.
To know Connie was to love her. All those who cared for her deeply will remember her unconditional love for her family, her generous heart, her warm and welcoming spirit (“welcome aboard!”) … and her insatiable sweet tooth.
Now the time has come for her to rest, for her mind and body to be whole again.
Arrangements are entrusted with Ward Funeral home, Weston Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honour of Immacolata Concetta Alberico to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
