SILVER, Barry - Passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020.
Beloved husband of Gail, loving father to Jordana, Joshua and Stacey.
Cherished Gramps of Joey and Myles.
Dear brother to Julianne Silver and Mindy Zeifman.
Son of the late Samuel and Rhoda Silver.
Barry was born in Toronto in 1949, and spent his life putting the needs of others first. A dedicated restauranteur and family man, he was happiest greeting his long time customers and welcoming the next generation in to his store, especially his grandkids.
His love for and lifelong commitment to Holy Blossom Temple was recognized by his peers when he was elected President of the Congregation, one of his proudest accomplishments. His love of family and the Jewish community will long be remembered.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Memorial donations may be made to the Barry Silver Fund to Support Young Leadership Development care of Holy Blossom Temple (416- 789-3291 ext. 227).
Special thanks for the outstanding care and compassion from Drs. Elimova, Panov, Hannon, Elliott, Smart, Kaasa and O'Connor, as well as the staff of the Palliative team at Princess Margaret Hospital.
