Zeller MaxZELLER, Max - Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the age of 97 in the home that he built in 1963.

He is survived by his son Mannie (Susan Lieberman), and daughter Esther (Morris Cooper), 5 grandchildren, Barbara (Simon), Michelle (Josh), Jess (Michael), Andrea (Alex), and Joseph, and 6 great grand children, Zev, Aviva, Zoey, Lev, Miles and Ezra.

His loving wife Sarah passed away in 1990. Four of his siblings, Sruel, Moshe, Chaye and Talie and their families perished in the Holocaust together with his parents Faige and Liebish and grandmother Rivka.

Three of his siblings, Shprintza, Ashe and Mania survived the Holocaust but passed in recent years, leaving Max as the last survivor.

After arriving in Canada in 1948, with his wife and son he began working at Toronto Packing and lived in Kensington Market. In 1962 he began his lengthy career as a builder.

Throughout his life he was an avid runner and a strong advocate for physical fitness.

Max was an extremely generous and vibrant man, and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020
