COCULUZZI, Aldo - With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Aldo Coculuzzi at home while surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at the age of 93.
Aldo is now reunited with his late wife Frances Coculuzzi (2017) and was the beloved father of Paul (Kim) Coculuzzi.
Cherished grandfather to Shawn Quinn (Jaime), Justin Quinn, Michael Coculuzzi and Stephen Coculuzzi. Great grandfather to Paige, Calvin, Shawn and Caleb.
Dear brother-in-law to Tony Leo and sisters-in-law Mary Lavigne, Joyce Gholson and Connie Coculuzzi.
Aldo was born in Prossedi, Italy in 1927 and came to Canada in 1938. As an adult he was a hard-working family man who loved telling stories of past memories and enjoyed tending to his garden and lawn – he was proud to say he had the greenest lawn on the street.
He loved being around dogs and adored children; always calling them “Smiley” no matter their name. His kind nature and great sense of humor will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his friends and family.
Respecting COVID restrictions, friends will be received at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., Etobicoke (at 14th St., between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Wednesday, November 18th from 10:00 until time of service in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 pm. Internment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to either Sick Kids Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
