SOUSA, Gilda - (1956 - 2020) - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Gilda Verissimo on Friday, November 13, 2020.
Gilda will be remembered by her son Norman, her brother Joe, her nephews Tyler, Nick and Zachary, and her nieces Katie and Nikita.
Gilda’s humour, spunk, and feistiness will be dearly missed. She was always quick to spark up a conversation and light a smile on anyone’s face, and her absence will leave a huge void in the lives of those whom she loved and knew. Her passion for family and her devotion to friends will never be forgotten.
Arrangements with Scott funeral home, Brampton chapel. In light of the current global pandemic and with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted. Unfortunately, this means that there will only be a private ceremony for Gilda’s closest friends and family.
For the health and well-being of everyone, we respectfully request that attendees at the funeral home comply with current Brampton by-laws by observing social and physical distancing and wearing a mask.
