KRAUS, Elisabeth 'Lisi' (Sterzinger) - (1940 - 2020) - Elisabeth (Sterzinger) Kraus, also known as Lisi, Liz, Tante, Oma, and Goti, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 14, 2020.
Lisi will lovingly be remembered by her grandson Scott (Julie), her sister Sofie, her ex-husband Wenz, her extended family in North America Barbara (Rick), Jenny, Becky (Nick), Nicole (Colton), Kit, Olivia, and Toni, and her many nieces, nephews and cousins in Austria.
Lisi could always be counted on for her sharp wit, lively humour, and telling you exactly what she was thinking. Although often being described as feisty, Lisi had a warm heart and cared deeply for those close to her.
Private Memorial Service Arrangements are entrusted with Giffen-Mack funeral home, Scarborough (West Hill) chapel. As an alternative to visitation, written messages can be submitted and will be placed with Lisi when she is cremated. All messages must be received before Wednesday, November 18th (submitted either online or in her mailbox).
Anyone who is unable to attend can arrange a private visit to her grave after November 28th at St. Margaret’s Cemetery at 4130 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1E 2R8.
