FILLIPPELLI, Salvatore - With sadness, we announce the passing of Salvatore on November 15, 2020 at the age of 83.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Rita (2010).
He leaves behind his children Frank (Franca), Rosa (Filippo Virginillo), Grace (Manuel Frade), Luigi (Pina), and Rina (James Muto).
Proud nonno of Michael (Lisa), Steven (Natalie), Angelo, Paolo (Daniela), Richard (Ashley), Claudio, Salvatore, Daniel and Laura and great-grandfather of Dylan, Aria, Julian, and Elyse.
Survived by his sister Immacolata Ceddia.
A cherished Zio, he will be missed by his nieces and nephews and their families.
As the City of Toronto has moved into the more restricted ‘red’ category during this pandemic our family has made the difficult decision to hold a private visitation and funeral for our beloved dad and grandfather.
He will be laid to rest beside his wife at Westminster.
