TOM, Kenneth (Ging Hong Hum) - 78, of Toronto, Ontario passed away peacefully on November 14, 2020 surrounded by family.
He was born on February 10, 1942 in Guandong, China and immigrated to Cornwall, Ontario in his early teen years.
Here he helped out at his father's Chinese restaurant and while going to school discovered a passion for electronics.
He pursued his passion in universities of Ottawa and Montreal.
He later worked most of his career as an Engineer at Nortel Networks in the US and Canada.
Kenneth enjoyed the simpler things in life like swimming and Tai Chi. He spent his free time volunteering at a Chinese community centre and worked as an income tax consultant.
Kenneth is survived by his sons, Harvey, James, Edmund and spouse Shawna, Richard and spouse Jean; his grandchildren, Tyler, Roger, Julia and Tessa Tom.
