Hutt HarmenHUTT, Harmen 'Harm' - Died peacefully on November 15, 2020 with his family by his side after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was 78.

Loving father of Harmen (Daniela) and Jacqueline (Stuart). Cherished grandfather "Opa" of Skyler, Cynthia, Adrian, Maya and Abigail.

Loving brother of the late Joanne Vanderloo of Keswick Ontario, and Ben, Henk, Tilly and the late Grace Poulain, all from The Netherlands.

Harm was a very friendly dutchman who always had a smile on his face. His sense of humour and charm warmed the hearts of many. Harm had a solid work ethic and built a reputation for being a trustworthy tradesman and master painter. In his earlier years he was an exquisite ballroom dancer who also travelled the world as a merchant sailor. Later in life a trip to South Africa reignited his love for the country where he settled every six months.

He had a passion for gardening, hiking, reading, enjoying a beer at the pub and taking care of his dogs. He was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.

He always referred to himself as the eternal traveller... safe travels Dad. Until we meet again.

No funeral or memorial service will be held at this time due to ongoing risks associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Arrangements entrusted with Paul O'Connor funeral home, Scarborough.
