Alesna Ang AuroraALESNA-ANG, Dr. Aurora -  is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mama Baby on November 13, 2020 at the age of 77.

She was born on February 13, 1943 in the Philippines to parents Delfin Alesna Sr. and Josefina Patalinjug. She grew up in Cebu, Philippines where she studied family medicine at Cebu Doctors Hospital.

She immigrated to Canada in 1973.

In 1979, after attaining her Canadian medical license, she opened a family practice in the Toronto East area.

She dedicated her life to healing and caring for her patients until her stroke in 2006.

She was well-known and respected within the surrounding community, as well as the broader Filipino community in the Toronto area. She served not only the Filipino community but patients from all cultures and ethnicities. She will be fondly remembered by her patients for her warmth and compassion, and, her ability to make them feel truly cared for.

Her family will always remember her for her dedication, loving spirit and forgiving heart.

She is survived by her husband Salvador Ang. She will be lovingly missed by her daughter Redemcion, son in law Francisco and her grandchildren Helaena and Braeden. She will also be dearly missed by her sister Lilac and her brother Delfin Jr., his wife Miguela, and their children Myla, Sophie, & Adrian.

Like her name, Aurora, she was a light in the lives that she touched. This light, along with her smile and beautiful spirit, will live forever in the hearts and minds of all those that were fortunate enough to know her.

Arrangements with Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough.
