Tecson BobTECSON, Rolando “Bob” Tupaz - Passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

He was our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by his wife Dorotea, children Jasmin, Michael (Amanda) and Rolando Jr. (Jasna).

He had the joy of meeting his four grandchildren, Roland, Logan, Mio, and Felix.

Rolando was born to Donato & Beatriz Tupaz Tecson, as the second eldest among 10 children; Flor (Ricardo), Bella, Maria Vida, Cynthia (Theodorico), Alma (Vincent), Donato (Jennifer), Jesus (Elizabeth), Melodia, and Reynaldo.

He graduated top of his class with a degree in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines.

Rolando married Dorotea Rigo with whom he bravely immigrated to Canada in 1975.

He successfully built and maintained private and commercial properties across Toronto with his own design and building company.

He then became a Building Inspector for the City of Toronto and was celebrated with his likeness permanently etched into a glass wall of one of the Toronto offices.

After over 25 years of acclaimed service as Building Inspector to Toronto, he retired to continue to dedicate himself to the church, as well as personal hobbies (baking, videography, painting, gardening, fishing). He enjoyed travel and delighted in recording new global experiences shared with family and co-pilgrim friends.

Bobby was a devoted member of St. Ann's Parish since coming to Toronto, and became a minister there with his wife Dory.

He was known for his warm charismatic smile, endless generosity, devotion to family and friends, and his wonderful sense of humour.

We will remember him forever.
