Latini ElisaLATINI, Elisa (née Piccioni) - (September 10, 1930 – November 17, 2020)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elisa Latini on Tuesday November 17, 2020. Having recently celebrated her 90th Birthday, Elisa passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Beloved wife of the late Cenzo for 55 years, loving mother of Fred, Peter & wife Angela and Gino & wife Roxanna and cherished Nonna to Melisa, James and Julianna. The youngest of 10 children, Elisa was born in Settecerri, Italy.

Dear sister of the late Luigi & late Livia Piccioni, late Gennaro & late Felicia Piccioni, late Poalo & Teresa Piccioni, late Maria (née Piccioni) & Atillio Dezi, late Rosa (née Piccioni) & late Francesco Ticchiarelli, late Ida & late Giuseppe Piccioni, late Settimia (née Piccioni) & late Giovanni Neri, late Irma (née Piccioni) & late Silvio Pettinari, late Ermoli & late Angeladea Piccioni.

Sister in law to the late Ida & Angelo Del Bianco, the late Domenica & late Pietro Ciccocelli, late Lindo & late Maria Latini, late Gilda & Francesco Gabriele and Santina & Vittorio Tucciaroni.

Mamma Elisa was completely devoted to her family, especially her three grandchildren who she called “The dear little flowers of her life." She symbolized the family connection with her immense capacity to bring everyone together. As the last of the 10 Piccioni brothers and sisters she gladly took on the task of being “Zia Lisa” to all her nieces and nephews and to all the generations of their families. Her persistence to feed everyone gave her so much purpose and joy, with love always the main ingredient in the food she served.

Her love was unconditional, her heart was unwavering in its ability to treat everyone as if they were part of her family. Elisa’s kindness and compassion for others was exemplary. She will remain forever in our hearts.

A private funeral visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home on Dundas St, E. in Mississauga. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, visitation to the funeral home and attendance at the mass and entombment is by appointment only. Please contact Scott Funeral home for more information.

The mass will be livestreamed on Saturday, November 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the following link: www.replaymediaproductions.com/elisalatini
