MAGEE, Richard Charles - It is with love and sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Richard on November 18, 2020, at the age of 73.
He will be loved and cherished always by his wife Robyn, his son Dustin, his daughter Lindsey, and her husband Matt.
Richard was born on March 18 1947 in Valley Stream, New York, to parents Clifford and Dorothy.
He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering at General Motors Institute of Technology and followed his passion in designing cars until he switched paths and built a legacy for himself designing global software systems. It was this path that would bring him to and make Canada his home.
Richard will always be remembered for his extraordinary and limitless patience, kindness and quiet fortitude. He always loved great music, greater wine, and made the best weekend breakfasts. He was a devoted husband and phenomenal father, and a true rock to anyone who knew him.
The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff at Harmony Hills Care Community for their kindness and care of Richard over the past 7 years. Richard is now at peace and will be lovingly missed, and will live on through family and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no service, and the family is choosing to do a private and intimate Celebration of Life.
