Cason MarjorieCASON, Marjorie Louise (nee Kingsnorth)  - From Wakaw, Saskatchewan

(March 16, 1938 - Dececember 11, 2020)

Survived by Norman Cason, Patricia and Jason Kent (Zaq, Sarah, Ali), Penny and Dennis Mohr (Anna, Grace, Kate), Jody Cason and Dave Scaddan, and a multitude of friends.

After a brave confrontation with cancer, the family of Marge Cason is relieved to announce her departure from this life.

Industrious, creative, resourceful, and with an overactive work ethic, Marge was a strong and independent woman who never waited for someone else to pioneer the path ahead.

She lived with a welcoming heart and open mind and was a great adventurer and scholar of life. Her thirst for knowledge was infectious and inspired everyone she encountered. She enthusiastically shared her greatest lesson: learn to make your own discoveries.

There was no adventure or task she was unwilling to try, especially in the kitchen! Marge was a fantastic cook and was always adding to her repertoire. She was also a talented seamstress and gardener.  She had a gift for picking up strays wherever she went, and made friends wherever she travelled.

She loved to socialize and have fun. She was the most gracious host and took great pleasure in feeding and entertaining her guests. She especially loved doting on her six grandchildren.

Right until the very end Marge had a positive outlook and an optimistic nature balanced with a good measure of pragmatism. She was the genuine article and will be missed by many.

The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and support staff who helped us transition through this difficult time.

We respect and appreciate all your hard work.

Hasta manana, Mardi.
