Neeley PeterNEELY, Peter   - 1942 – 2021  After a short fight with lung cancer Pete passed peacefully at home with his beloved wife on January 6, 2021.

He was predeceased by his parents Nancy Neely and Peter Neely, sister Nancy, sister Cathie, sister-in-law Audrey, brother-in-law James and brother-in-law Chic.

Peter is survived by his wife Grace who was the love of his life and best friend, brother Archie, sister Margaret (Pat), sister Betty; nieces and nephews Stewart (Juliet), Cheryl (Shawn), Gerry (Yasmin), Steven, Lori (John), Catherine, Michael, Suzanne (Matt), Mark (Sinead), Patrick, Shannon (Michael); great-nieces and nephews and their children; brother-in-law Mike.

Pete took great pleasure in watching each generation grow. He spent many enjoyable hours building the family tree.

Pete and Grace came to Canada in 1963 from Glasgow, Scotland.

Because of the pandemic friends and family in Canada and in the USA could not visit Pete during his illness; he knew he was in their thoughts and prayers.

When Pete decided to stay home, he was under the care of the Freeman Outreach Team.

I must thank Doctor Grossman and her staff, Tina, and Safi for taking such good care of Pete.

At Pete's request, there will not be a funeral.

Donations in memory of Pete can be made to The Bruce Trail Association, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the charity of your choosing.
