Rondeau EmilyRONDEAU, Emily E.   - Mom lived a life that was caring and supportive to family and friends.

Emily passed away at The Weinleigh Nursing Home on December 27, 2020, in her 99th year.

She was thoughtful and helpful to all.

We see Mom and Dad together holding each other in a silent and warm embrace forever.

Mom was always faithful to her beliefs, and struggled mightily to keep us along the path she knew would be in our best interest.

Emily opened her home in Montreal to fostering children in the hope of giving them a good start in life. Both Mom and Dad would feed the homeless with Reverend MacDonald working with the Church community.

Mom moved to Mississauga a year after Dad's passing.

Emily was one of the original volunteers at Credit Valley Hospital she was well known as "The Book Lady". She volunteered at the Open Door with Reverend Lynne Culham.

Emily was an active member of the St. John of The Cross parish and choir community, an integral part of her life.

Her daughter Denise and one of her PSW's, Cypress, were by her side. The family would like to thank both Sheila Cordero and Cypress Balili for being Mom's guardian angels who were with her till the end. Emily was born on March 16, 1922. S

he met and married her true love Fernand (Bill) Rondeau, May 18, 1946 in Winnipeg. They moved to Montreal to start their family.

Dad passed away in his 64th year.

She is survived by her children Denise (Bill), Robert (Ann) Gerald (Joan) and Linda. She was an amazing grandmother to 6 children and great-grandmother to 10 beautiful children.

Tribute from a granddaughter Ashley, "You were my Nana, you taught me what it meant to be an incredible woman. You inspired me every day to be better than the one before.

You were always in my corner, rooting me on, being my biggest supporter. A shoulder to cry on, you were my place of happiness."

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

"While you are no longer here with us your memories will live on in all of us forever". Rest in peace Mom.
