RUSHBROOK, James Sidney   - November 8, 1934 - January 8, 2021

James Sidney Rushbrook passed away after a long journey with Parkinson's Disease.

Predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Patricia, and his sister Beverly, and survived by his children Stephen, Jamie (Steve), Laurie (Dino) and Sandra (Rob) and his grandchildren Milena, Theo, Marcus, Luca and James.

Born in Montreal, James was a graduate of McGill Engineering.

He loved his work as a mechanical engineer and eventually retired from teaching at Sheridan College.

Golf was his favourite pastime, especially the 19th hole which he often shared with his lifelong friends Gary, Derek and Jon.

We will be forever indebted to the countless amazing people who supported and cared for our dad, particularly in the last year.

From the in-home care provided by the LHIN, Acclaim and Paramed, his doctors, specialists, personal care workers and nurses, to the incredibly compassionate staff at the Chartwell Waterford (Bronte Wing) for their end-of-life care and support.

We will never forget your dedication and kindness. Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held. Donations can be made to Parkinson Canada (www.parkinson.ca) or Kerr Street Mission (www.kerrstreet.com).
