Starret ChristineSTARRET, Christine  - It is with great sadness after a courageous battle right to the end, Christine passed away peacefully in her sleep at Bay Haven Care Community in Collingwood, on Saturday, January 9, 2021, in her 62nd year.

Christine was born in Collingwood on July 30, 1959 to parents Wallace Starret and Annie Stratton.

She is survived by her sister Helen (late Gary) Jamieson, brothers Ronald (Anne) Starret and John (Cheryl) Starret.

Also remembered by her nieces and nephews Mike (Louise) Jamieson, Heather (Ryan) Clute, James Starret, Rachel (Levente) Molnar, Jack Starret and 10 great-nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Christine will be missed by her close friends in Oakville, Toronto, Collingwood and extended family in Scotland.

Christine's work family Stikeman & Elliott were very near and dear to her... with a heavy heart she will be sadly missed. Christine's passion was her job at Stikeman Elliott, she loved to read, watch old time classic movies and documentaries.

Christine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her trips to Scotland. In her spare time, she enjoyed exploring YouTube videos, reading the newspaper or a good book on her e-reader.

Senior Legal Administrative Assistant was the title Christine held at Stikeman Elliott, in the Spring of 2020 Christine celebrated her 40th anniversary with the firm, a record at which had not been achieved by anyone else in the department.

Many thanks goes out to Bay Haven Care Community nursing and PSW staff, as well as owners Scott and Cynthia Strandholt they truly take pride in there work, making everyone feel special, loved and cared for.

Thanks as well to the LHIN, Saint Elizabeth's, Sunnybrook Regional Heath Centre, St John's Rehabilitation Centre and the Odette cancer clinic for there care and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be honoured that any donations be made in Christine's memory to Bayhaven Care Community.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment with her parents at First Presbyterian Cemetery, Collingwood.
