ROMEOS, Konstantin - With sadness, we announce the passing of Konstantin on January 18, 2021 at the age of 90.
Beloved husband to Katerina (Catherine) and cherished father of Voula (Geogios Papadopoulos), Aphrodite, Pano (Mary) and Harry (Kathryn).
Proud pappou of Andreas, Irini, Thomas, Katerina, Nicholas, and Cristos.
Konstantin is survived by his sister Maria and brother Vassilios as well as his nieces, nephews and their families.
Konstantin began to fulfill his life of adventure and experiences when he first left his home in the village of Vourvoura, Kinouria in Greece at the age of 15 to study cabinetry in Athens. He travelled to Germany and then Canada where he decided Toronto, Ontario was where he would raise a family.
Returning with his bride, Katerina, he established a strong connection with family and friends from his home village. He maintained those connections to the very end and then some.
He will always be remembered for his humor, zest for adventure, compassion towards others in their time of need either to build something or support them through difficult times. We will forever have fond memories of him playing his flogera and singing songs of old during car rides or on a whim when he wanted to express the joy in his heart and soul. His intensity was expressed through his powerful voice in this lifetime and will continue in our memories and hearts but never forgotten.
Lastly, his love and adoration for children of all ages especially his grandchildren is what we will hold and cherish deeply in our hearts.
