SCHIAVONE, Alessandro 'Alex' - It is with heavy hearts and tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Alessandro Schiavone.
On January 17, 2021, at the age of 94, after a long and fulfilling life, God called Alessandro to his eternal home.
Loving husband to his beautiful wife Rosetta for 71 years, cherished father to Vito (Joanne) Joe (Jenny) Frank (Vera). Loving nonno to Rosetta, Corradina (Marco) Angela (Chris) Alexander, Marie, Rosetta, Lauren and Joshua and great-grandfather “Big Nonno” to Lucas.
Alessandro will hold a very special place in the hearts of all his friends, extended family in Canada and in Italy as well as everyone who had the pleasure to know him personally.
A very special thank you to the Dunfield Retirement Residence family, Alessandro’s second home for the past 10 years.
We will fondly hold his many words of wisdom in our hearts. His amazing sense of humour, infectious smile and love of life will forever be with us.
Arrangements entrusted with Ogden funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be welcomed.
