Clement ConradCLEMENT, Conrad - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Conrad (Blackie) Clement on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 89.

Now reunited with his late wife Lenore Clement and beautiful daughter Barbara Arthur, Conrad was the beloved father to Sherri and her husband Matt, cherished grandfather to Travis and Dylan and father in law to Brian.

Conrad was a hardworking and dedicated family man. He loved being around those he loved and was always involved in activities with his kids like skating and swimming and playing with his grandsons.

He was a dedicated Montreal Canadiens fan and always praised his favourite player - Jean Beliveau. His love for the Habs partly stemmed from his own ability to shoot a puck around. He played in many local leagues, often winning top scoring awards which could be found proudly displayed at the Lakeshore Lions Arena.

In quieter moments he enjoyed time spent at the family cottage on Leech Lake. He was funny, quick-witted, a bit cheeky and always had a nickname for anyone he met. He was a guys' guy but always put his family first. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by friends and family.

Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., Etobicoke 416-259-3705 on Wednesday from 5:30 -9:00 pm. A private funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 21st. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.

**Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the capacity of the funeral home or church facilities are limited. Guests wishing to attend must select a time slot by registering on the funeral home's website, by visiting Mr. Clement's memorial page, and then clicking on the Sign Up Link. Those not registered may have to wait to be admitted as space permits. All guests will be expected to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
