PIRILLO, Franca - Passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021.
Born on March 28, 1952 to Eugenio and Angelina Gallo in Mendicino, Cosenza, Italy. She was the youngest of her family and immigrated to Canada as a child.
In 1974, she married her love, Giuseppe (John) Pirillo and went on to build a beautiful life that included two children. When Franca had Stefania, she decided to dedicate her life to being a wonderful mother.
Franca excelled at motherhood and their family became complete with the addition of Daniel. She went back to work when the children started school, but her priority was always her family.
Franca was predeceased by her parents, siblings (Franco, Pietro, and Antonio), her in-laws and her granddaughter, Angelina.
She is survived by her adoring husband, John, her children, Stefania and Daniel, in-law children, Frank and Sandra, and her grandchildren, Luigi, Olivia, Giuliana, Daniel Jr., Veronica and Violet, as well as siblings.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
Due to current circumstances the visitation, funeral and burial will be private, but all are welcomed to join via zoom with meeting ID and passcode provided on the funeral home website
The family is providing a zoom visitation as well as funeral service at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.
