SPANO, Anna (nee Silvestri) - With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Anna Spano. Anna passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Humber River Hospital at the age of 84.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Nino, after 62 years of marriage.
Loving mother of Walter, Mary (and her late husband, Domenic), Vittorio and his wife Emily.
Cherished nonna of Jennifer, Melissa, Erica, Marco, Jules, Alexandra and Anthony. Dear bisnonna of Christian and Julian.
Anna was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Church in Woodbridge. Her greatest joy was to be surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Since June 2019, Anna was a resident at Weston Gardens Retirement Residence, where she was surrounded by many people whom she considered members of her family.
May she be reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Nino.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends and all those whose lives she touched. Arrangements entrusted with Ward funeral homes, Woodbridge chapel.
