BAKER, Charlotte Leona - 1926-2021 - It is with great sadness we announce that on February 21, 2021, Charlotte Baker, age 94, just shy of her 95th birthday, passed away peacefully.
Born in Toronto, 1926, Charlotte was the doting daughter of D. Lou Harris and Eva Harris (nee Feldstien).
She grew up with her older sister, Molly, in Briar Hill.
Charlotte married her husband, Morris Harold Baker and had three sons, Stephen, Howard and Peter. They spent many summers at their family cottage by the lake, fishing, swimming, boating and enjoying the sun.
Charlotte is the grandmother of Katherine, Brandon, Erik and Markus and great grandmother to Layla Rose.
She was an elegant, kind and generous woman, hosting countless family events and active in many charitable organizations throughout her life.
As a member of Beth Gan chapter of Hadassah, Charlotte served as one of their presidents.
Her memory lives on in all those who knew her and the 3 generations of family she leaves behind. Charlotte Leona Baker will be sorely missed.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
