HELLIWELL, John William - It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of John on February 20, 2021 at St. Michael's Hospital at the age of 88, surrounded by the love of his family.
Together forever with his wife Doreen (1987) and his grandson Johnny (2009).
Beloved father of Donna and Debbie.
Cherished grampy of Chantelle, Amanda, Ashley and Raymond. Great-grampy of Jayden.
Much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was the former director of purchasing for The City of Toronto for 40 years.
The family would like to extend their sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Michael's Hospital for their care and compassion.
Due to Covid-19, the funeral service will be private. Arrangements with Giffen-Mack funeral homes.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
