MALONE, Patrick Joseph - (February 19, 1927 – March 28, 2021) - Peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto at the age of 94.
Beloved husband of the late Janet Kirkland.
Pat will be remembered by family both here and abroad namely, Amby and Patricia Badin, Dermot and Helen Fagan, Linda and Paul Feehan, Carol and Ken Phillips, Trena and David Finnegan, Jenni Currie and Michael Hughes, and by close friends Francis and Denis Bradley, Brian and Janice Rodgers, Sean McCarthy and Terry and Anne McGarry.
Pat was born and raised during World War II in Dublin, Ireland and proudly served with the Royal Air Force. He immigrated to Canada in June of 1955 and married his beloved Janet on November 14, 1960. During their almost 50 years together, Pat and Janet enjoyed travelling the world, especially to their warm spot in Spain.
Pat enjoyed a long and successful career with de Havilland Bombardier.
He was a kind and outgoing person, had a quick sense of humour, loved life and a pint or two on occasion.
Thanks to all the caring staff at Revera Leaside and in particular to Desiree for her many kindnesses. Also, to the staff at Michael Garron Hospital, especially Dr. Morey for his kindness and caring during this difficult time.
