McGEORGE, Marna Ann - Passed away unexpectedly at home on March 29, 2021, in her 70th year.
Beloved wife of 43 years to Robert, loving mother to Michael (Kim) and Andrew (Messina), cherished grandmother to Sydney and Harmony.
Will be sadly missed by her brothers Ross (Jean) and Bill (Christina), her many nieces and nephews, and her best friend Michelle.
She was predeceased by her parents Bill and Margaret, and her brother Edward.
Marna worked as a Legal Assistant for more than 40 years, having entered the profession straight out of school – a perfect fit for her meticulous nature. She spent many years involved in Scouts Canada. She loved jewelry and shopping, especially for her two young grand-daughters. She also enjoyed reading, she loved to travel, and she was generous to a fault.
Funeral arrangements (respecting COVID restrictions) are entrusted with the Ridley Funeral Home, Etobicoke.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Marna’s name to The Canadian Cancer Society.
