Di Poce FrancescoDI POCE, Francesco - At the age of 81 peacefully passed away on March 29, 2021.

Beloved husband of Rita Di Poce (Tersigni) for 65 years.

Francesco is survived by his children Maria Debkowski (Greg), Sergio, Nick (Mary Palozzi), Gaetano (Nadia Sacco) and loving brother of Anna Alonzi.

Francesco is predeceased by his brothers, Lauderio, Armando, Mario and Carmine Di Poce.

Loving nonno to Sophia and Nicholas and Lucas Francesco.

He will be forever missed by his many brothers, brothers in law, sisters in law and many nieces and nephews.

Francesco was born in Comune Di Sora, Provincia di Frosinone, Italy on November 24, 1939 to Domenico and Maria Domenica Di Poce. He immigrated to Toronto through Halifax in 1957, by ship, to find a new life and to start a family.

Francesco was a hardworking, gentile, caring, wise, inspiring and tender hearted man. Francesco was employed as a bricklayer for Local Liuna 183 and was one of the leading bricklayers of his time. He enjoyed to work.

He also enjoyed and adored spending time with his children and grandchildren Lucas Francesco, Sophia and Nicholas.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke, Kidney Foundation or Lung Association.

Visitations is limited to RSVP at Bernardo Funeral Homes, Dufferin Chapel, Toronto on Wednesday, March 31st, 2021. His funeral service will take place on Saturday April 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. from St. Charles Borromeo Church. A maximum of 50 people can attend. To attend the Church service you must RSVP. Entombment is private with family members.
