Killey AllanKILLEY, Allan Christian P. Eng,   - Allan passed away peacefully, at the age of 97, at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre and is at rest with his wife Margaret (Marmo), parents Bert and Edie and brother Bob.

Kind, supportive and patient, he was Dad (Chris, Sue, Randy, and Nancy), Grandpa (Sean, Kiersten, Laura and Dave), Uncle Allan, and most recently, Great-Grandpa (Hayes).

Born in Winnipeg, Dad spent many years in Scarborough but still drove like he was on a prairie road.

He could tack upwind, throw a curling rock, loved walking and was always up for an outing with his grandkids. He was old enough to know what a slide rule was and could still use it.

He always was an excellent friend to dogs, accidently dropping food from the table.

Dakota was undoubtedly first in line to welcome him to Heaven, hoping he brought an ice cream cone, Jasper just behind, expecting him to throw a stick, Bill just behind them.

Mom undoubtedly had to wait until the dogs finished their body wags before she could have her big reunion with Dad.

As a Master Gardener and a Life Member of the Ontario Horticultural Association, he was truly happy digging in the garden at 976.

Mom and Dad enjoyed so much together; but nothing more than gardening.

Our grandmother always said 'flowers are for the living'. In lieu of sending flowers, please plant some flowers in a pot, in your garden, or buy yourself a bouquet and enjoy them.

Mom and Dad will be delighted.

Dad has left us a wonderful legacy in his art, which can be viewed at https://link.shutterfly.com/S8K1q8jUUeb With the current restrictions on gathering, a private family celebration of his life will take place.
