Da Ros AntonioDa ROS, Antonio - (19 October, 193128 March, 2021) - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Antonio Da Ros.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Lori and son Carlo. He will be forever missed by his daughter Angie (Kevin) Pickford and son Anthony (Cindy) and his grandchildren Kim (Rick), William (Jessica), Nick and Travis.

Brother to the late Bortolo Da Ros (wife Florina) and late Vincenzo (wife Dora). He is survived by his sister Adriana Salvadore (husband Ernesto). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Antonio came to Canada with the hopes and dreams most immigrants have of a better life. He never said no to hard work. He was a great example of doing whatever it takes to take care of your family. He had to deal with a lot of struggles in his early family life including the devastating loss of his son.

Both he and Lori led by example to Angie and Anthony of how a family supports each other during difficult times. His love of animals provided many great experiences and memories for his grandchildren. All of them have memories of the mini farm he and Lori had, full of chickens, rabbits, ducks and sheep.

His daughter Angie inherited his trait of putting the needs of family first. Much like Tony, she is always one to lend a hand, or welcome people into her home with open arms.

His son Anthony inherited his strong work ethic. Like Tony, his friends and family know they can count on him anytime.

Tony loved being able to spend time with his grandchildren…. especially when they were younger. He loved spending every summer with his granddaughter Kim when she was growing up. He also loved his fishing and farm adventures with his grandsons William, Nick and Travis. Although it is difficult to let him go, we know that he is at peace now.

The entire family would like to thank Karen, Jackie, Kevin and Steve at Southlake Residential Village for the exceptional care they provided Tony during his stay.

Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

A Livestream Funeral Service will take place on Thursday April 1st at 11 a.m., from the website of Thompson funeral home, Aurora.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Antonio's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, https://alzheimer.ca/york/en/home.
