Pasquali SalPASQUALI, Giuseppe Salvatore 'Sal' - It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of “Sal” Pasquali, on March 31, 2021 at the age of 86 at the Humber River Hospital.

Beloved husband of 62 years to Ilde (nee Ceccanese).

He will be greatly missed by his children Maurice, Lori (Steve Thomas), and Carlo (Kally).

Proud and cherished grandfather/nonno to Christian, Lauren (fiancé Adam Henrique), Charlie and Elizabeth.

Reunited with his parents, Umberto and Elisabetta (nee Dalla Nora) and his in-laws Egisto and Genesia (nee Ricci) Ceccanese.

He will be forever in the hearts of his siblings in the provinces of Treviso and Pordenone in Italy: Anna (predeceased Giuseppe Rosalen), Tarcisio (Adriana), Gina (Silvestro Silvestrini), the late Luigi (Paola), Agnese (Aldo Vedovato), Lucia (Giancarlo Lunardelli), Geremia (Meris) and Antida (Flavio Marchesin).

He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Lina De Carolis (predeceased Ferdinando) and Romana Ceccanese (predeceased Angelo). Zio Salvatore will be missed by his many nieces and nephews in Italy and the surrounding Toronto area.

Due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees. Please RSVP in advance by visiting or calling Bernardo Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. A private Funeral Mass will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Church. A private entombment will follow at Westminster Cemetery.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Humber River Hospital or charity of your choice would be welcomed by the family.
