DAWSON, Pamela Gay - It is with sadness the family of Pamela announces her passing on March 31, 2021.
Pam was born in Dundalk Ontario, on January 24, 1944.
She was predeceased by her Mother and Father, Gwen and Jack Dawson, dear cousin of Chris Hodd and Marilyn Gilbert and the beloved aunt of Lori Futterer and Dana Belus.
Pam was a graduate of the Nightingale School of Nursing and received her master’s degree in nursing at Duke University in North Carolina.
She nursed for many years at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto and is co-author of a book, Enhancing the Abilities of Persons with Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias, a Nursing Perspective.
Pam has left many friends saddened by her passing. She was also a true cat lover. She had a wonderful sense of humour and always left us smiling. One of her other great loves was her figure skating both participating and in later years as a spectator. She loved to travel with her good friend, Pat, and will be remembered by her long-time friend, Jim.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. We will all miss her and will treasure her memory.
