PEPES, Antonia - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Antonia, peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital, on Monday, March 29, 2021.
Antonia was born in the beautiful village of Vrina located in Ilias Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1966 settling in Toronto.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband of 35 years Constantinos, her loving parents Konstantinos and Georgia, sisters Asimina and Paraskevi, and is survived by her loving children Fotoula and Danny and granddaughter Nia all of whom she doted on.
She is also survived by siblings Anastasia, Yianitsa, Anastasios, Panagiotis and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She enjoyed life, was a wonderful mother and homemaker where she lived her life with generosity, conviction and much laughter. Her devotion to family was second to none and the meaning of family to Antonia extended out past her immediate family members to include all the wonderful friendships made throughout her long journey in life.
Antonia loved life deeply and in turn was loved just as deeply by all in her midst during her long life. She always surrounded by family and friends spending time laughing, crying or simply reminiscing about experiences over a great cup of coffee.
Antonia will be missed while lovingly remembered by the many generations of family and friends in Canada, Greece and Australia.
Visitation will ne held at Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto on Sunday, April 04, 2021. The service will take place at St. Irene Chrysovalantou Greek Orthodox Church, 66 Gough Ave., Toronto on Monday, April 05, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made directly to the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Irene Chrysovalantou.
