Shah VirbaSHAH, Virbalaben Champaklal - Our beloved Virbalaben, Mummy and Ba left this heavenly earth on March 30, 2021.

She leaves behind one daughter, one son-in-law, five sons, five daughters-in-law, fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, a sister, a niece, a nephew and their families.

We are beyond blessed to have had a lifetime of memories with Mummy/Ba and while we will miss her dearly, we know she is restfully at peace with our Papa/Dada

She was born on August 9th,1931 in Kadod, India. She was married at the age of 18 to Champaklal Kalyandas Shah. After the wedding, they moved to Kampala, Uganda. In Kampala, they became parents to one daughter - Nayana and five sons - Shirish, Anup, Dipak, Bharat and Dinesh.

In 1972, they relocated to the United Kingdom and lived in Chester where they established a beautiful life for over 20 years making memories with family and friends. They then decided to join their family in Canada where they lived with their children and in 2013 moved to their final home, Anand Bhavan, in Richmond Hill.

Virbalaben was a bright and welcoming spirit, who showered her family and friends with love, sharing her life lessons learned – her experiences, stories, beautiful bhajans, songs, and delicious food, including her famous Mohanthal, Maysoor and Gugara. She always gathered the family for katha, making sure all had Siro on their plate. We will cherish these memories for a lifetime.

The service will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham on Sunday, April 4th, 2021.
