Alphonso LouisALPHONSO, Louis Anthony - Of Toronto, Ontario, sadly passed away on March 31, 2021 after a strong battle against covid. Louis passed one day before his 72nd birthday.

The son of the late Ilene and Aloysius Alphonso, he was born in Vreed-en-Hoop, Guyana, and moved to Canada in his early twenties.

Louis is survived by his children Peter, Michael and Crystal, his stepdaughter Kim, brothers Neil and Louie, his grandchildren Isaac and Samaya, and his extended family. Louis was a loving son, brother, father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.

Louis loved to collect model cars and worked as an auto body technician for over 50 years. He was very skilled and took pride in delivering quality work. He enjoyed staying active, watching sports, especially his favourite team the New York Yankees. He was a simple and selfless man who cared very deeply for his children and grandchildren, and often enjoyed spending time with his family sharing fond memories of his life experiences.

He was deeply loved and will remain forever in our hearts.

Funeral services for Louis will take place at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough, Ontario on Monday, April 5th. Due to the current pandemic and province-wide lockdown, a small number of immediate family and friends will be in attendance for the visitation and chapel service.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Celiac Association
