Fingold MichaelFINGOLD, Michael Gerstein - It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that our family announces the passing of, our beloved, Michael on April 2, 2021.

Michael is survived by his adoring children, Cole and Mimi Fingold who will forever honour his legacy along with his former wife, Tara Fingold- Librach (Richard) and his loving parents, Lynne Fingold and David and Ronni Fingold.

Deeply cherished by his devoted brother and sister- in-law, Samuel and Jessica, adored uncle to Elle and Harry.

Sadly missed by his step- sisters, Catherine Himelfarb Borden (Bruce) and Marlene Shiner and their families.

Michael's extraordinary culinary talents brought joy, warmth and comfort to so many during the pandemic and to all those who were lucky enough to experience his company and his cuisine on many meaningful occasions.

As a gourmet chef, he was able to realize his true passion and fulfill his lifelong dream. Michael's kind and jovial nature will be forever etched in the hearts and souls of all who knew him.

Michael will be terribly missed and always remembered with enormous love.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

To honour Michael's love of cooking, we kindly suggest that donations in Michael's memory be made to The Michael Fingold Culinary School Scholarship (to be established) at George Brown College, through the Benjamin Foundation.
