CHANG, Young Ja 'Sue' (CHO) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Young Ja (Sue) on April 5, 2021 at the age of 78.

She is survived by her loving husband, Suk Jin (Ken), with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Cherished mother of Young In Turner (Stephen), Donald (Sandy), and Steven (late Robert). She leaves behind her grandchildren, Luke, Theo, Miles, Maya, Carter and Violet.

Loving sister of Chong Sook Oh and Nam Soo Cho. Reunited with her late mother and father Ki Sun and Yeon-Ho Cho. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

She emigrated to Canada from her homeland of South Korea in 1970 with her young daughter, joining her husband who had preceded her there.

Young Ja spent her early years as a nurse, working at Scarborough Centenary Hospital in Toronto, before she became an entrepreneur and purchased a convenience store with her husband in Mississauga.

After many years the family moved to Windsor where they were long time members of Fox Glen Golf and Country Club and active in the Korean Catholic Church and Korean community.

Young Ja loved her family and golf, even volunteering at the LPGA Women’s Championship in 1998 where she met many of her heroes.
