Tyrrell TedTYRRELL, Edward 'Ted' Samuel - It brings us great sadness to announce that our much loved Ted, son, brother, father, uncle, and friend left us peacefully after a very long struggle as the sun rose on March 31, 2021.

He was in his 60th year.

We all admired his courage and tenacity for the past 25 or so years.

He lived in a body ravaged by Multiple Sclerosis.

Unable to communicate verbally, his spirit, strength and sense of humour still shone through and could not be dimmed.

Primarily a computer systems analyst, his talents and interests also included hotel management, restaurateur, singing and music, tree planting, canoeing, sailing, travelling. Ted lived a whole life to the best of his ability. We are all thankful that he was part of our lives.

Survived by his daughter Alexa, mother Cavell, brothers Paul (Ann) and Chris, nieces Nicole and Laura and nephew Benjamin. Predeceased by his father Leonard and brother David.

A private gathering with immediate family will be held on April 24, 2021. Ted will be interred with his father, Len and brother, David, in Toronto.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the dedicated and loving staff of PSW caregivers, especially Kader Adamsahib, Tracey Ann Ritchie, Thahira Amanulla and Ronnie Salalila.

If you wish to honour Ted’s memory, please consider donating to Canada’s Multiple Sclerosis Society.
