House HaroldHOUSE, Harold Gladston - Passed away peacefully at Shepherd Lodge, Scarborough on April 7, 2021 at the age of 95.

Loved husband of Lois (Little) for 74 years and father of Alastair (Cheryl), Ginny Main (Arn), Evan (Liz), Laurie Vantyghem (Harold) and Sheila Schwindt (Keith).

Proud grandfather of Glen, Kyle, Joel, Ian, Heather, Nancy, Miranda, Chrissy, EJ, Jesse, Dylan, Ryan, Sabrina, Devin, Joshua, Nathan, Caleb and great grandfather to many.

Harold was born in St. Catharines Ontario January 9th, 1926 and grew up in Vineland and Jordon Station. He was the son of Altie (Moyer) House and Martin House.

Predeceased by brothers James, Lloyd, Ronald and sisters Marie, Jean, Ruby, Mabel and Olive.

Harold was an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. His first charge being Starks Corners Quebec where he met and married his wife, Lois. He also served congregations in Ontario, these being Forest, Welland, Hagersville, Haileybury, Tillsonburg, Whitby and Leamington, with several years as Director of Development at Eastern Pentecostal Bible College.

He and Lois retired to Cobourg where he was active in the church community. He organized senior's events and led a men's choir etc. They moved to the Manor at Shepherd Village 16 years ago where many friends were made. There he remained active in the ministry by leading a men's Bible study, coordinating Friday fellowships and men's singing groups.
Due to declining health he moved to Shepherd Lodge in July 2019.

Given COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service will take place at a later date.

The family welcomes donations to be made to the ERDO (Emergency Relief & Development Overseas) Foundation or a charity of your choice on Harold's behalf.
