Gray JamesGRAY, James Anthony   -  James Anthony (Tony) Gray, died peacefully, on April 2, 2021, at home in the care of his family.

Beloved husband and best friend for 53 years of Jeannie; loving father to his sons Tony and Jason and special daughter-in-law Denise; adoring grandfather to Lucy and Evan; close brother to Gary and uncle to Alexandra.

Tony was a major presence for many years in Canada's consumer electronics industry.

President of H. Roy Gray Limited, and founder of Angstrom Loudspeakers and the Higher Fidelity Company.

He designed and built loudspeakers, distributed high-fidelity equipment, and championed excellence in the experience of listening to music.

Tony also loved building race cars in his treasured garage.

Most of all, he built a life for his family, giving them every advantage and opportunity, teaching them kindness and generosity and love by the strength of his example. His was a pure spirit.

He will be forever remembered by his many friends and the countless people he touched as an honest, giving, and good man.

He was a remarkable son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Thank you to all the people who helped make his care and death at home possible: his many friends with their constant support; his palliative care team; and in particular Dr. Pham, Dr. Workentin, PSW Joaquin Deliva, and nurse Nav.

We will hold a small celebration of Tony's life when it is safe to gather in person again.

Donations to brain cancer research in Tony's memory would be appreciated.
