JOKI, Lennard Toivo Matti - December 20, 1947 - April 5, 2021
It is with profound sorrow we announce the passing of Lennard Joki at age 73, on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Finlandia Nursing Home.
He entered Finlandia in April 2018 after a diagnosis of Alzheimer's in 2015 and a stroke in 2017.
Lennard was predeceased by his parents Uno (1967) and Linda (Kantola) (1973).
He was the loved and loving brother of Marlene Vorkapic (Nikola) (2014) of Hamilton.
Surviving are cousins in Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States.
Lennard was born and lived in Sudbury until the age of 23 when he moved to Toronto to attend Ryerson. Lennard graduated from the Business Program at Ryerson in 1974.
The major part of Lennard's employment career was served with the Apprenticeship Branch of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
He retired from the Ministry in 2003.
He was a lifetime member of the North Toronto Horticultural Society.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Lougheed Funeral Home, Sudbury at 11 a.m.
