MORGAN, Edna (nee MacDOUGALL)  -  It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Edna Morgan, on April 12, 2021, in her 96th year.

Edna lived in Oakville for 60 years where she was a longtime member of the Oakville Curling Club and Wyldewood Golf Club.

She was born in Kirkland Lake in 1925 and until recently, had kept in touch with many of her childhood friends.

Kirkland Lake always held a special place in her heart and Mom never forgot her childhood home on Second Street.

Edna was predeceased by her husband Gerry (2007) and her sisters, Lilian MacDougall and Inez Reid. Loving mother of Mike (Francey), Bill (Els), Mary Jane (Lorne, predeceased) and Sandra (Danial).

She was a caring grandmother and will be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

We would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Mississauga as well as Chartwell Oak Park and Chartwell Waterford Retirement home for the care and compassion shown to mom over the past 6 years.

She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance at the mass is by appointment only.

If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
