Halliday BillHALLIDAY, William Henry 'Bill' - Passed away peacefully, at the Scarborough General Hospital, on Sunday, April 11, 2021, age 94.

Loving husband of 70 years to Marjorie (nee Enever).

Devoted father to Stephen (Deborah), the late Sharon (Ted Zambri), Dale, and Glenn.

Proud Papa to Dorian, Kieran, Leah (Ryan), Daneya, Nick (Michelle), Ian (Shirley), Neil, Graeme (Chisato), and Ryan. Great-grandfather to James, Everly, Avalina, Liliana, and Nico. Fondly remembered by Aase, Alison, and Jeanette.

Bill was born and lived his entire life in Scarborough. A longtime employee of Gooderham & Worts Distillery, he was a veteran of WWII in the Queen's Own Rifles, and was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years.

He and Marj travelled extensively, and he liked nothing better than to sit in his favourite chair on the lawn at the cottage and watch the boats go by. He was a great storyteller, though prone to embellishment, bringing many smiles to his grandchildren's faces.

Arrangements entrusted to Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, Scarborough chapel.

Due to Covid-19, a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
