Di MISA, Rosalia - It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Rosalia Di Misa, during the early morning of Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the age of 87.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Antonino Di Misa (2017).
She will be forever missed by her daughter Anna Lewis, son-in-law Brian Lewis, daughter Antonina (Toni) Glick, son-in-law Don Glick, and always remembered by her loving, brother Giuseppe as well as her nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Born in Camporeale, Sicily, Italy on October 18, 1933 to Antonina and Giacinto Li Mandri. On November 9, 1961 she married Antonino Di Misa and two years later the family immigrated to Canada.
Rosalia loved cooking and baking and sharing her many creations with her family. She was also an avid gardener and spent many happy hours in her solarium caring for her plants and flowers. Rosalia was a loving mother, wife, and friend to all.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosalia’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
