GOODMAN, Annette (nee Rich) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Annette “Cookie” Goodman on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021, just shy of her 91st birthday.

Since childhood Annette (nee Rich) was affectionately known as Cookie by all of her family members.

Most treasured and cherished wife of the late Julius Goodman. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Rick Goodman and Eleanor Lester, Lorne and Rochelle Goodman, the late Brian Goodman, and Randi Goodman and Ian Fromowitz.

Devoted grandmother of Jeffrey Goodman and Kerri Graham, Aaron Goodman, and Jake Fromowitz; and great-grandmother of Evelyn and Isobel.

Cookie was the youngest of Harry and Golda Rich’s five children; the last surviving sister and sister-in-law of the late Gertrude (Gertie) and Lou Catzman, Martha and Louie Lackie, Robert (Boyke) and Vera Rich, and Ruth (Tootsie) and Moe Fruitman & Harry Kamiel. Also the last surviving sister-in-law of the late Carl and Frances Goodman, and Sally and Joe Rotman.

Auntie Cookie will be forever missed by her many nieces and nephews on both the Rich and Goodman sides of her families. She will also be missed by her extended family members and longtime friends.

Recently, dementia took its toll on our Mom. She battled the best she could.

Private Family Service and livestream arrangemnets are entrusted with Steeles Memorial Chapel. Please go to https://smclive.ca/ on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 12:00 noon.
