CHAPLIN, Gloria - (October 12, 1923 - April 13, 2021)
It is with deep sadness and much love we announce the peaceful passing of Gloria Chaplin (nee Cantoni) at the age of 97.
Predeceased by husband Russ, sister Sandra, and survived by sister Nellie.
Gloria was the loving and dedicated mother of son Russ Jr. (Glennis) and daughter Lynda.
Cherished grandmother of Stephanie (Rene), Lauren (Matthew), Ryan (Lovie Ann) and Dale (Adam), great-grandchildren Xavier, Jennifer, Alexandre, Sophia, and Ethan. She will be missed by family and many friends.
Gloria was known to host many family and neighbourhood parties. As she aged, she would reflect on those times and the laughter remained her fondest memory.
It was her wish to have friends and family gather in her memory, but Covid has dictated otherwise.
Her wishes will be honoured in safer times.
In the meantime, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or as a living memorial, planting a tree would be appreciated by the family.
