Brown AlanBROWN, Alan Foster - On Monday, May 10, 2021, Alan died peacefully in St. Thomas, ON, after several years of battling COPD.

Alan, who was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on June 30, 1954 to Duncan and Margaret Brown, immigrated to Canada with his family in 1963.

He is predeceased by his beloved parents and by his siblings, Duncan and Lesley.

Alan is survived by his four children, David, Jennifer, Christopher, and Gabrielle.

Alan graduated from the University of Toronto Law School and spent his career at Blakes law firm. He started as an articling student in 1979 and became a partner in 1987.

After his retirement, he continued to serve on the board of GraceKennedy Foods. Alan loved life and his retirement years in Port Stanley, ON. He enjoyed food, travel, music, books, art, and sports.

He loved spending time with his kids more than anything. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation and funeral services will be held privately by invitation only.

While the family wishes you could all be with them in their time of loss, they appreciate your kind words and condolences.
