Cayen RichardCAYEN, Richard (Ziggy) Claude   -  April 21, 1972 to May 8, 2021

Born and raised in Warren, Ontario, Richard is survived by his wonderful partner, Trina Joyce, of Toronto; his mother, Gisele (predeceased by father, Gilles), of Warren; his 2 younger brothers, Brad (Tammy), of Warren, with his nephews, Brandon (Courtney), of Sudbury, Ryan (Janick), of Sault Ste. Marie, and Craig, of North Bay.

He had a special life-giving connection to Stephen Wierzbicki, his wife, Laura, and 3 children, Hannah, Michael and Matthew (Gremlin), from Collingwood, ON.

He was 'Uncle Rick' to his children and called for 'weekly check-ins' with everyone from his home in Toronto.

Rick (Ziggy) was a fun loving, carefree, thoughtful, sports enthusiast who really cared about the ones he loved.

His smile and his laugh were so contagious and warming. He lit up every room he's ever entered. Everyone remembers Rick as the wonderfully generous man who had a big heart, who put others before himself.

If we measure a person's wealth by the size of his heart, Rick would be the 'sultan of sociables'.

He will always be cherished and remembered fondly by his family and friends. His legacy will live on.

Rest well my friend. Go Leafs Go! If you would like to send a donation in Rick's memory, please do so to the Canadian Liver Foundation. Richard passed away peacefully, May 8, 2021, at the Toronto Western Hospital.
