Frascà DomenicoFRASCÀ, Domenico - (August 31, 1949May 13, 2021) - Domenico Frascà departed our Earth peacefully on May 13, 2021.

First son of his late parents, Paolo and Maria (Riga). Cherished brother of Palma (Biagio), Francesco and Giuseppe (Laura). Proud Zio of Raffaele, Paul (Enza), Paolo, Daniel, Maria and Giulia and will be greatly missed by numerous cousins, friends, paesani and former coworkers.

Born in Stefanaconi, Vibo Valentia, Italy in 1949, Domenico arrived in Halifax, Canada in 1966 and lived in Toronto along Corso Italia.

Domenico worked hard to support his new life at Soft Sole Slipper Company, and years later joined the workers of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 113 and the Toronto Transit Commission, until his well-deserved retirement in 2015 with an exemplary service record.

Over the past number of years, Domenico has tended his vegetable garden, taken care of his fig tree, foraged his wild dandelion and mushrooms, hunted his snails, cured his pancetta, squeezed his grapes and prepared his olives. He particularly enjoyed eating his daily meals with his brother Francesco and helping his sister Palma with annual seeding and harvesting of hundreds of garlic, pepper and tomato plants.

Domenico always dedicated his leisure time to visiting his dear friends, cousins, nieces and nephews, especially his dear great-niece Giulia.

Domenico will always be remembered for his generous, selfless and thoughtful demeanor and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements are entrusted with Jerrett funeral home, St. Clair Chapel. Please RSVP to the Visitation at the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/YSKXr2nw5w , the family will confirm your assigned session. The Funeral Service and Entombment Service will be livestreamed on Tuesday, May 18th starting at 10am.
