Morra LeonardaMORRA, Leonarda - (2 October, 19219 May, 2021)

Born in Monteleone, just after the First World War, she grew up in challenging times. Persevering through WWII, she was married to Carmelo and bore two children (Rose, Tony) in Italy.

In 1956, she along with the rest of her family emigrated to Canada where they settled and were blessed with another daughter (Connie).

A willingness to give was paramount to Leonarda’s personality. Day or night, those who visited at her home were never allowed to leave hungry. Her garden fed the entire street where she lived. This strong, generous woman will be missed.

Beloved daughter of Maria Antonia & Carmelo Lamanna, Wife of (Carmelo Morra [deceased]), Mother of (Rose [Victor], Tony [Anne], Connie [Barry]), Grandmother (Vince, Brian, Eric, Kyle, Vanessa & Madison), & Great Grandmother (Vaughn, Devin, Alexia, Kristina, Logan, Lincoln & William).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, in-person Visitation, Funeral Mass and Entombment service will be private by invitation only. Arrangements and livestream details for all services are entrusted with Paul O'Connor funeral home.
